August was definitely a weird reading month for me. Overall, I had a slow start, but I mostly finished strong with 4 full length novels and 2 novellas altogether as well as, unfortunately, 1 DNF (did not finish). Happy release day to Sarah A. Parker and To Snap A Silver Stem, book 2 in the Crystal Bloom series! This book utterly gutted me and I’m still dazed from the impact. April was an interesting month! From traveling to and fro, starting fertility treatments, and feeling a little slumpy and stretched thin generally to finding joy in baking and season 2 of Bridgerton, I feel like I barely read a wink! But I'm currently still obsessing over the world of Daughter of Smoke and Bone (through book 2!) and these 4 rom-coms tooootally pulled me through my slumpiness and brought me so much joy!
